The Speed Force runs small. For the best fit, we recommend going up half a size than your usual size.

Our lightest, most minimalist, closest-to-barefoot performance shoe.

The comic book character The Flash gets his super speed from the Speed Force. We think this shoe will do the same for you.

While we made Speed Force to be a racing shoe, people are wearing it for MUCH more. Some take it on trails (watch where you put your feet given the feedback you’ll get from the 4.5mm FeelTrue® rubber sole), and others simply wear it all day, every day, because of the sock-like comfort.

Wish I’d known about Xero sooner

I have a wide foot coupled with a high raised arch that means overall shoe volume usually leaves me wanting. Love my Vivibarefoots, but not uncommon for me to end up with blisters where the shoe rubs me. Not anymore. Wore these beauties for a week, and before I knew it HAD to go back and buy them in another colour as well. No blisters, no rubbing, only comfort and that wonderful “gee, forgot I was wearing shoes” feeling that we all want but rarely find. Room to move without that too loose feeling. Perfect. And dont get me started on how quickly they came, as well as how first rate their advice on sizing is as well. A highlight of my lockdown so far….thank you. A Customer For Life. Ps. I wear a 38 in sports shoes normally. A 9 in these was fine.

    Simply the Best

Posted by Shelley Koroneos on 4th Feb 2021

I really don't know what else to say. They fit the best.... not too baggy like some zero drop, wide toe box, flexible athletic shoes. They look the best....I have both the grey and the black. Grey for gym. Black for work. But not exclusively so. They feel the best.... as comfortable as slippers and yet reactive to my foot's movements. I am 60 and started wearing zero drop, wide toe box, flexible shoes about 4 years ago. I was always fussy about the toe box & flexibility, but did not know about the benefits of zero drop. Amazing. These shoes are the best for my weight training, dog walking, mountain walking, work, and my looking good!!!! I have got my husband on to them. He says his men's speed force are even better than the sprinting spikes he loved way back in the day.

    Excellent shoe!

This is my first barefoot shoe and I couldn't love it more. I initially bought a size 7 which was a tad too short but I was able to easily exchange for a 7.5 which fits perfectly. The shoe is extremely light I almost forget I'm wearing any.

    Pleasantly surprised

This was my first barefoot style shoe and so far, I'm really enjoying it. A few things surprised me: - Walking on gravel isn't painful... more like a foot massage - While my leg muscles are still adjusting, I already feel more stable than usual - The shoe hasn't required any wearing in (unlike every other closed in shoe I've ever owned) - The width has been very accommodating to my wide feet - They not ugly... (my impression of barefoot shoes until recently was that they were daggy looking) I have had to stop a few times in the start of my walks to adjust my sock or the laces... maybe a bit tight in some spots? Or maybe I'm just feeling it more because there's very little padding? But within a few minutes, they seem to loosen up and I don't think about it again. It's only been a week, and maybe 20km walked in them so far, but it looks like I'll come back for more Xeros in future :-)

    The best yet!

This is my second pair of Xero running shoes, and my 3rd pair of Xero shoes. Switching to Xero has done wonders for my running form - I can actually feel when I'm doing things wrong, and when i'm doing things right. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Speed Force: Racing Flat works really well for my very narrow feet. They're a little shorter than my Xero Ipari Prio, so if in doubt, order up a size.
